BLUE DAZE

Blue daze is a flower from the morning glory family. The coaster is a motif based on the flower and the stand is inspired by the rounded leaves of this plant.

This flower is a favourite from my garden. One glimpse of this periwinkle blue in the morning is all I need. Over time the plant it was sharing its pot with took over the whole pot. I was so sad I lost it. A few weeks back I saw the same rounded leaves growing in another pot. Turns out our gardener got me a new sapling because I’d mentioned it :) And that’s the inspiration for this object. I absolutely love this perfectly imperfect flower motif. You’re going to see this a lot.
